As a way to empower the next generation of divers, Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) has created the NextGen Scholarship to provide a year of training and other benefits to deserving divers on their quest for excellence.
Annika is the inaugural Global Underwater Explorers NextGen scholar for 2019-2021.

With the support of BLAKE, Antarctica New Zealand and the Antarctic Heritage Trust, I spent six weeks on Ross Island conserving Sir Edmund Hillary's Hut as their Antarctic Ambassador for the summer of 2016-17.
